X21 hard drive not spinning down

My hard drive in my X21 does not seem to want to spin down. It keeps running on full speed making a lot of noise.

Does anyone know any ways of solving this?

Try updating your hard disk firmware

I gave this one a try; but it didn't seem to want to install this because it said that a newer version has already been installed.

This is the only firmware for the hard drive that I can find.
