How much does Lenovo charge to replace mobo?

#1 Post by D L Davis » Tue Dec 20, 2016 12:38 am

Since I've not been able to fix my lost password problem on the x41, how much does Lenovo charge to replace the mobo (or whatever they do) to skirt that issue?

Enough that you would be able to buy two or more complete equivalent laptops on the free market.
Thinkpad 25 (20K7), T490 (20N3), Yoga 14 (20FY), T430s (IPS FHD + Classic Keyboard), X220 4291-4BG
X61 7673-V2V, T60 2007-QPG, T42 2373-F7G, X32 (IPS Screen), A31p w/ Ultrabay Numpad

Not to mention the fact that they likely would not have an X41 board to swap in...given the age of the system.

Cheers,

One FlexView to rule them all: A31p

Abused daily: T520, X200s

No PRIVATE MESSAGE option appears on the screen I'm seeing.

Ooops. I see it now.
