Can't find proper Wi-Fi drivers for X32

#1 Post by zoltan87 » Wed Mar 28, 2018 12:29 pm

I have installed Windows XP sp3 on my Thinkpad X32, and successfully installed all the drivers for sound, graphics card, mouse etc., but I run into an issue with the wifi drivers. I have been trying to find the right drivers for the installed wifi card (it's the one that it came with from the factory), but I just can't figure out where the proper drivers are. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What are the device IDs for the Wifi adapter? Instructions for finding them are here:
http://www.dell.com/support/article/il/ ... ardware-id
(it should appear as a network controller with a question mark in the Device Manager)
Thinkpad 25 (20K7), T490 (20N3), Yoga 14 (20FY), T430s (IPS FHD + Classic Keyboard), X220 4291-4BG
X61 7673-V2V, T60 2007-QPG, T42 2373-F7G, X32 (IPS Screen), A31p w/ Ultrabay Numpad

I might made a mistake, thinking that the "Unknown device" must be the wifi, while it could be something entirely different (maybe the built in Compact Flash card reader)?

This is in my Device Manager:

?Other devices
?Unknown device (hardware ID: ACPI\IBM0068)

Under network adapters this is what I see:
1394 Net Adapter
Intel(R) PRO/1000 MT Mobile Connection

But I can't find any sign of a wifi network setup anywhere. What am I doing wrong/possibly missing?

That ACPI\IBM0068 is Power Management.
