X20 sound card DOS compatibility

#1 Post by CrazyTPFan » Sat Jan 04, 2020 3:02 pm

Hi all, I recently acquired a ThinkPad X20. It's an awesome little retro gaming laptop. But, there is one issue. The audio driver for the Crystal CS4281 driver that I downloaded from this site doesn't seem to have any DOS compatibility. I also have a T21 with a Crystal audio chip and I needed to get the audio driver from Crystal not IBM. Is that the case with my X20? Do I need the drivers from crystal for DOS compatibility? I appreciate if anybody can help a fellow ThinkPadder out.

Thanks. But, for some reason it won’t install.
