Bluetooth is not working.

I have an IBM x40. The model number is 2386H4G.
Underneath the laptop it is written:
(23S) Bluetooth MAC Addr: 00 xx xx xx xx xx.

But in the device manager I have no Bluetooth device. And there is no bluetooth software installed.
What is wrong? Does I have to do something to get the Bluetooth to work?
Or is something wrong with my laptop?

I hope that someone can help me with this problem.

PS. I have tried to installe the IBM Bluetooth software, but it could not find any bluetooth device on my laptop.

Make sure the bluetooth antenna is turned on. I believe Fn+F5 will do this. XP should detect the bluetooth module at this point and install the software...after which the bluetooth icon will pop up.

hi! I'm an X40 owner who had some bluetooth issues related to windows xp driver issues. Make sure you install the (unsigned) IBM (Widcomm) drivers and follow the instructions in the readme.txt file.
