I have installed ghost enterprise 7.5 on my x41t as I frequently need to image machines at remote locations where I will only have the x41t with me.
Unfortunately, I can't seem to get any clients to see ghostcast (multicast) sessions I initiate on the x41. If I use the same client computer and client network disk, same nw switch and cables, and same version of ghost on my dell laptop it works fine. But, when I use the x41t the ghostcast session sets up fine waiting for client connections, but the clients cannot see the session. The xp firewall is turned off for the broadcom netxtreme onboard lan and I've tried using both the older drivers from IBM and the latest drivers from broadcom.
Anyone run a multicast session from their x41 or have any advice?
tia
(normally I'd lurk longer after joining a forum, but I need to solve this asap. I did search the forums and didn't find any related posts.)
