X32 Battery Life?

#1 Post by ibbo » Tue Sep 27, 2005 10:44 pm

Hi,
I'm considering purchasing the X32 but wanted to get a feel for the expected battery life. I've heard reports from 3.5 to 5 hours. Can anyone confirm this? Thanks.

Look in tabook. The answer is in the specs.

I don't have X3x laptop, but I can tell you some things:
1. There are some types of batteries. As it bigger you get longer battery life. Check what battery you get with your model of X32.
2. It is very depends on your use while on battery. If you configure the computer to the lowest proccecor speed and voltage, and to a low level of screen brightness, you'll get much more battery life. You can also turn off WiFi and Bluetooth - they both take a lot of power. Also, if you use optical devices (CD ROM etc...) you lose more power.

So my final advice is: look in TABOOK for the model yoyu want. Check what battery you get, and what is the TABOOK battery life time. This time can be achieved when doing all I said - low CPU, low brightness, no radios, no optical use.
