downloading music into X40

I just downloaded a music CD into my new X40, but no sound! What did I do wrong? Any suggestions?

Sound ok otherwise, only music which I downloaded cannot be heard. I can see the visual music waves also...but only silence.

Have you tried headphones also? OR if you were using headphones, have you tried the internal speaker? What about an external DSP via USB?

Play a little with the Volume control in Accessories>Entertainment. Also what media player are you using? Make sure the volume is cranked up within the player.

And within the Volume Control application there are often some volume controls that are muted and if I recall correctly some of the more important volume controls do not show up in the default config. So you have to go to Properties and enable them, then make sure they are not muted.
