Two questions about the Tablet Journal

My boss just got a X41 Tablet and I have two questions about converting to text in the journaling. He is coming back on Monday and I have the machine set up and ready for him, and have been messing around with it so I can show him how it works.

1. Is there a feature to select the entire note rather than try to "lassoo" a whole page of handwriting? I have tried doing this with the lassoo, but I keep missing text in the corners. Is there the equivalent of a "Control-A" or "Select All"?

2. Is there a way to have the converted text combine lines to use the full page? What I mean is that when you write a handwritten note and then convert it, the text just takes up a short part of each line since it is shrunken. This wastes a lot of space on the right side of the page. It would be great if I could tell it to combine all the text together in one paragraph and then I could separate as needed.
