Hi,
I just received my X41T yesterday. It has the intel wirless chip on it and I have a question about the speed.
I currently have Fios for home broadband 15 Mbps/2 Mbps. When I am connected wielessly to the router I get speed of 300 - 400Kbs downloads. When I connect the X41t to the router by cat5 I get speeds of 1.4 megs a sec downloading the same file. I realize that the wireless is going to be slower but that seems like a big drop to me especially since I am on a G network and the signal is at 100%.
Am I wrong, is this just the limit of the wireless g network? Any thoughts would be apprciated.
oh and I do not have any encryption turned on just mac address filtering.
