new IBM X41 slow compared to X31 ?

Hello there,

recently I got an IBM X41 notebook model 25256NG (with a Pentium M, 1.5 GHZ and 1,5 GB of RAM). When comparing this to the IBM X31 I used before
(model 2672 - PHG) it seems to be somewhat slower. Both machines run under Windows XP pro and roughly have the same software. Can anybody
explain or even confirm this observation?

Hard disk speed is slower at X4x-series compared to X3x. Its the result of the 1.8" drive instead of the 2,5" drives of your X31.
