How to remove Netwaiting and "Digital Line Detect"

#1 Post by gerdh » Wed Dec 28, 2005 9:06 am

On my X41T, the IBM original image is overloaded with "All you don't need".

I got rid of Franklin Covey. Still have Netwaiting and "Digital Line Detect" Software runnin in my system.

Does anyone know how to uninstall these two software items?

thanks for a reply,
Gerd

These two programs are installed with the modem driver.
As I always clean install on my pc, all I do is to cancel, when prompted, the installation of these two programs. Then, only the modem driver is installed without Netwaiting or Digital line detect.
In your case, as these are already installed, I would un-install the modem driver and re-install it, but when I re-install, I will simply cancel the installation of Netwaiting and Digital line detect.
Sorry, if I am wrong.
