Dock I vs. Dock II, x31

I have an X31, and would like to get a dock for my office desk. Are there important differences between the original dock and the dock II, other than the USB2.0 hub? The price differences is quite significant. Will the original dock work with my X31, perhaps with a PVR-150 tv tuner in the PCI slot? I will not be using the DVI pass-through, obviously.

I don't believe there is a PCI slot in the Dock, only the Dock II.

I use the docks that you can get for about $15 on ebay for my X31, and they work great. I have one at my office and one at home, so I have a "desktop" setup at each. Look for part numbers 02K8668 02K8669 02K8668 02K8667. They require an AC adpater that comes with your X31.
