X41 Serial Number Help Needed

Just received my thinkpad x41 tablet PC today. On the bottom I am reading the serial number and at the end there is a number that reads 06/01. that's not the biuild date of the unit is it !!

These are from Lenovo now, so that they use a different date format. It means 01/06 (January 2006)
