Hi everyone
Is it possible to run an out of warranty X30 with its built-in screen three feet away? I bought it in "terrible but working" condition and having been messing around with the hardware repair manual; is it possible to get a longer (3-4 feet) lcd connector? Anything else to worry about?
Thanks for any help
Juergen

You might be able to, but it will take a great deal of work (4 hours including soldering). Another user in this forum did it on a TP770:

If I get a chance, I will post a link to the pics that he emailed me.
