x 41 tablet screen shut-off problem

Every one in a while (about once a day) the screen on my x 41 tablet just shuts off: The computer is still running, but the screen is stuck on a certain color. usually its black, but sometimes it's another random color. I hare to restart manually to fix this. Anyone have any comments or solutions?

I am getting blue, black, white and even orange! (non tablet)

First I restarted it but pushing it into the sleep mode (Fn+F4) helps as well.

Worst of the worst is that my girlfriend noticed my frustration and started to give me hard time. I´ve praised my X41 for a month now...

Any solutions around??
