Easy Imaging X24

#1 Post by TomStearns » Fri Jan 20, 2006 10:44 am

I have purchased a second X24 from an IBM reseller; the HD will be wiped by IBM

What's the easiest way to duplicate the O/S (W2KSP4) and other softwares which are on my first X24? No CDRW on either X24 but there is a PC with a burner in my office. I also have a crossover network cable.

What are the chances that the "new" X24 will have IBM utilities?

Can I rebuild from scratch using my W2K bootable CD?

Using Acronis 8, image the old X24's drive to the new X24's drive mounted in a media slice or USB HD. Plug it back into the new X24 and play.
