Copying rescue and recovery images to external hard drive

#1 Post by vts » Tue Feb 07, 2006 4:33 pm

I have the X41T which is great. I really like the whole IBM package including the utilities. However, I am concerned about rapidly losing disk space due to the large amount of space taken by the rescue and recovery images. I have a 60GB external hardrive which I used to transfer some of the rescue and recovery images and then deleted some from my hardrive. However, the next time I transferred, it appeared to repeat the whole step.. and in effect, my external hardrive only had the same images that the laptop drive had. Does anyone know how to transfer images but keep an archive of images on the external drive that do not necessarily have to match up with the images on the laptop drive?

Thanks

I am running RR 3.00.0027.00
