I installed newest updates and lost my Fingerprint function

I went and installed the newest drivers through the IBM Software installer. Next time I booted up it asks me for password rather then fingerprint. then it tells me that cannot find specified path for fingerprint software. I reinstalled it twice still doesn't work on startup.

Any ideas for a solution or similar expirence?
