Definitely check to see if all the keys work. I got an X20 (quite similar to the X22) on eBay several months ago which looked very new with good battery but had a defective backslash/pipe key.

I also had to buy a power supply, another $20 shipped from ebay so the total actually was $270 for everything.. still pretty good.

Now, im trying to figure out if its possible to add internal bluetooth card...

Also, wireless card it came with does not support WPA security protocol .. only WEP. not secure enough for me.. so i might swap it to Intel 2200 a/b/g mini-pci card which supports WPA.
If you do, let me know as I would like to buy the card that you take out for my wife's new (to her) X22 I got her since she reckoned her old R31 was way too heavy.

I too just received an X22 today! The model is 2662-9DU with the RAM increased to 256MB. The purchase ($380 shipping included) includes an external USB CD-ROM drive, an external USB floppy drive, a port replicator, two AC adapters (I will sell one), an NEC MultiSync LCD1500M LCD monitor, a tiny wireless mouse, a wireless keyboard, and a Targus laptop bag. Pretty good deal!

I am thinking about selling my TP240.

I bought it used on eBay last month for only $583! I haven't tested the battery yet, but it should last pretty long (>3 hours?) when the extended battery is attached.

Perhaps $20 shipped? The FRU P/N is 02K6814, with 16V and 3.5A output. PM me if you are interested!

There are two minor problems with it though. First, there is a vertical green line extending about 1/3 across the screen. Second, the key for the backslash and pipe symbols is loose and sticks out because one of the two clamps tethering it to the keyboard is missing (but the key works fine).

A nice thing about this TP240 is that while most TP240's are 300MHz Celeron, this one is 366MHz Celeron. My 366MHz/192MB machine is noticeably faster than my friend's 300MHz/320MB (also TP240, with identical OS and software). I am thinking about selling it for $120 plus actual postage. The AC adapter and external floppy drive are included. The model is model 2609-31U.
