I have a ThinkPad X40 (2382HCU) Pentium M 1.4 running XPPro SP2. I am trying to create a bootable disk with an Iomega USB REV drive. I would like to have a bootable copy of my entire hard drive so that I could use it to restore my entire disk if I had a crash or failure. My two questions are:
1) Does my bios support booting from a USB device; how could I find out?
2) Is there an "ISO boot image" somewhere on my hard drive that I can copy to the Rev drive? If so, whee is it? (When formating a REV disk, I have the option of making it bootable, but the wizard prompts me to browse for the ISO boot image). If such an image is not already somewhere on my hard drive, how do I create it?
Thanks, Paul
