Tablet blue Screening when using pen in Dock.

I have a X41 tablet and it is blue screening when using the pen on the screen while the machine is docked. I had it happen to a director level guy today as I was demonstrating MS OneNote. Took the pen out and touched the screen - immediate memory dump and reboot. I just happen to luck out in that he didn't have anything important open at the time. I've also had it happen a number of times when I turn the screen and close the lid to write on the tablet while it's docked. Does anyone have a fix for this?
