X41 Backup & Restore Utility Usage

Hello all!

I've had my X41 for ~4 months and love it...but I have a few questions regarding the use of the Backup & Restore. Right now it seems I have 6 different backup dates, below are the sizes...

Base 7.6 Gig
Scheduled 4.6 Gig
Scheduled 0.6 Gig
Scheduled 0.5 Gig
Scheduled 0.5 Gig
Scheduled 1.2 Gig

Free Space 19.6 Gig
Used Space 32.3 Gig
Backup 14.5 Gig
Total Size 51.9 Gig


Will these backups keep piling up untill I am out of space!? Can I start deleting previous backups to save space and just keep the most recent?

I've went through the help utility...just looking to see how others handle the backup utility.

If you are running R&R 3.0, the utility allows you to copy backups from the local hard disk to a USB hard drive or DVD/CD.
