Port Replicator II + power supply (T42 + X31)

I noticed that my Port Replicator II supports the X31 as well as my T42 I use for work, but as silly a question as this might be, do I need to change out the power supply plugging into it to match the X31's? Part of me wants to believe that since they're the same size and one could 'accidentally' confuse the two that there might be some kind of cross-compatability.

Anyone know?

You can use the same power supply for both.

Each will only draw what it needs.
