Need cable for IBM USB External CD-ROM drive
Hi folks,
There is a port on the CD-ROM drive with which I am not familiar. Does anyone know where I can find a cable that will allow me to connect this device to the USB port on my ThinkPad X21? Thanks.

Your welcome. I just did a Froogle search and the cheapest was $57.33, in which case you'd be better off with the one from Lenovo, so that you know what your going to get.
Aside from that.....it might be best to just buy another external CD-rom, because I really don't think that it is worth the $60+ for the cable.

The drive is made by TEAC. Model # CD-210PU.
You can find seme on e-bay. Some are branded as DELL but they are the same drive. I did some search on the internet and they are ridiculously expensive.
For that kind of money you may be able to purchase an X2 media slice on e-bay. It will be faster than the external CD-rom.
