#1 Post by msafi » Tue May 16, 2006 9:36 pm

X40 AC has the following specs:

Input:

100-240v

1.5A

50-60 Hz

Output:

16v == 3.5A LPS

T40 AC has the following specs:

Input:

100-240V

50/60Hz

1.5A-0.9A

Output:

16V == 4.5A

Anyone know?

yes... you can.

The T40 with all accessories connected (2nd hdd, CD RW, Dock) will overall need a higher current than supplied by X40 power supply.

the T40 machine alone, on your lap, runs fine with X40 PS. I do tis all the time and have no issues.
