X21-2662 keyboard

Anyone experienced non-functioning UP and Down buttons? What was your resolution (like reseating it) except changing the keyboard?

The unit was well maintained and I don't know how it got to be that way?

Last, would updating the BIOS provide the solution? Thanks!
