Price on the X41 and price estimates on X60 tablet??

Lenovo is selling their X41 Tablets with a 3 year warranty and the 8 cell pack for $1400 after rebate through the 26th. This seems like a decent deal for the machine. What do you guys think?

Also, what does everyone think the new tablet will sell for after it arrives? Any guesses?

I’m trying to decide whether to buy now or wait. I really wanted a duo core to speed things along but I'm wondering if they are going to cost a lot more $$$.

The X41Tablet they are offering for the price you state (plus about $125 sales tax for most folks) is a near full-featured X41 Tablet. Have you priced a similarly featured X60 (non-Tablet of course)? Add probably $400-500 to that regular X60 price you configured and that will likely be the cost of a similar X60 Tablet for about the first 6-8 months after availability starts. First of all it's a Tablet so that adds some premium, then on top of that it will be the newest model so the price will stay high until the demand begins to level off. When they came out with the X41 Tablet they could not meet demand for a long time and the first Tablets didn't ship to non-employee, non-corporate buyers until almost 3 months after they were announced. Until this special began the retail on a Tablet of this type was several hundred more. I guess it comes down to your budget and how long you can wait (and do you really need a Tablet?).

There is no info on an X60T. That's why I said when announced or when availablity starts. I was comparing what might occur with what did occur when the X41T was announced. That's all.
