Would this flash drive work in the X41 tablet?

memtech

If not, what would? I didn't think any manufacturer would make an IDE flash drive, but it would be great if one of them did make a 16GB+ flash drive which would work in the tablet.

I totally agree. I am planning on trying a flash drive in my IBM X41 in the future since it would greatly improve battery time.

But I thought that the flash future flash drives were giving incredible performance which is the main reason for my interest in these drives. Have I misunderstood something?

The X4*-series needs 1.8"-drives in a peculiar format that has a different connector than the usual 1.8"-drives which are common in other notebook brands and mp3-players. I do not really expect any future drive developments for the X4*, as its special drive format was abandoned in the X6*-series, and the market is therefore probably not all that large.
