I’m in the process of installing Linux on my x22, but one thing is hanging me up: configuring the graphics. The problem is that I don’t know what to give the X-server for horizontal and vertical refresh rates.
If the rates are too low, the screen can flicker, be fuzzy and cause eye strain. If the rates are too high, the screen can be damaged. There is a sweet spot in there where you get a nice, crisp, flicker-free screen, but a full day of searching has given me nothing. I can’t find the rates for this screen anywhere. Lenovo’s web site is totally useless and I don’t have a working copy of Windows installed to look at.
Could anyone help me? Has anyone seen the capabilities of these screens in any manual, website, bar napkin, etc? If anyone reading this has a working x22, please post the supported refresh rates. This thing is really driving me nuts. I don’t want to damage my laptop and my eyes aren’t too good as they are (20/400…)

Most LCDs are either 50MHz or 60MHz. I'd start with 60.
