Using the PCI graphic card in the dock

#1 Post by pcnoob » Tue Aug 15, 2006 9:01 pm

How do you use the graphic card? I installed it and boot from PCI but there is no picture on the screen. How do I make the picture appear on the LCD? Do I need something extra?

Model thinkpad? Type of dock? Type/model of gfx card?

Have you got the latest bios and embedded controller program? <--Upgrade this first if you haven't already.....

You don't mention an external monitor? From what I've always understood a video card in the dock will only display on an external monitor, not the internal LCD on the laptop.

how should the signal get to the internal LCD ?!

obviously the external graphicscard needs a connected external monitor
