Picture of X30/1 with an extended battery, asap?

#1 Post by BlueDevilTide » Thu Sep 07, 2006 9:45 pm

Could possibly get one online but I want to know what it'll look like and if it will fit into the sleeve I have for it. I would be VERY thankful as the auction ends in about a day.

THANKS!

Cant get you a picture cause mine is in service.
But it will fit most sleeves that have a little give. But its about 3/4 of an inch thick so it adds some bulk to the machine.

Hope this helps a little, the battery time you get outweights the cons of having an battery pack under your machine.

Where exactly does it fit onto? Like does it add on to the entire base of the notebook like a thin version of an Ultrabase?

no, it only adds to the back half of the thinkpads base.

and I have a neoprene sleeve for 12" notebooks which the notebook always fits perfectly in, be it with extended battery or not.

it`s a good buy imo. it takes my x31 to about 8h of moderate use.

Darn, lost the auction. Thanks for your help anyway though. Looks like I'll have to get a regular battery...which is fine, but still...
