it says it's meant for the x41

it's a 1'8" so it has to fit! it looks like the ones we both have in our laptops.
check the fru to be 100% sure, but i dont see any reasons why it shouldnt work

You can't assume that simply because it's a 1.8" HD that it will work in the X41. The subject drive apparently will, but there are other 1.8" HDs out there that are not for use in laptops and have different interfaces and connecters.

Just a word of warning.

i've checked the fru, and it is a x40/1 hdd...so good luck with bidding!

... and for the X40 according to the details in the offer, which is correct. But the drive's speed in the item's header description is wrong, right is 4200 RPM.
