X31 and Docking Station 2631-10U

Hi all;

I have recently bought an X31 (2672-CXU) refurbed from IBM, and am trying to use it with a dock that I already own and use with my T20, the dock is 2631-10U.

The dock functions fine with the T20, always has. With the X31 docked, I am able to boot from the CD-ROM in the dock, but any other Ultrabay device, including a non-bootable CD in the drive causes the X31 to hang at the POST screen.

Any thoughts? Odd that it would boot, but nothing else. Is this a BIOs setting on the X31, or could the dock connector on the X31 be bad?
