Simple question:
What would happen if, while my x31 was running happily under xp pro , the the ram became unseated?
Every now and again I get a blue screen of 'death' and my computer shuts off. Sometimes it turns right back on again, and sometimes not. However I can always solve the problem by pulling both the memory and reinserting them.
After rebooting and an error report to good old microsoft I am told that there was a stop error error likely caused by a faulty driver. I don't think this is the case because I've done a full reinstall to factory defaults and still the same thing happens on and off.
Any ideas? Or even better, any solutions?
x31 ram memory problem? Motherboard?
