Enable Bluetooth Radio at Startup
Enable Bluetooth Radio at Startup
When my X40 starts the bluetooth radio is off by default.
How can I turn on the bluetooth radio by default?
Or maybe the question should be:
How do I keep the bluetooth radio from getting turn off at startup?
Any input will be appreciated.

Okay so my biggest problem is a docked X40 with closed monitor. Also using external touch screen. Need to have bluetooth enabled on startup. So I don't have to touch the keyboard I'm ganna put a shortcut to the app that runs that FN+F5 Wireless Radio app. on my desktop.That way I only need to use the touch screen.

ANSWERED! Enable Bluetooth Radio at Startup
1. Made a shortcut to TpFnF5.exe.
2. Then added a parameter in the shortcut properties; Target = "C:\Program Files\Lenovo\PkgMgr\HOTKEY\TpFnF5.exe" " /BTON"
3. Added shortcut to the startup folder in my Programs Menu.
Hotkey Features for Windows XP - May 8, 2006 - Version 1.03.0605
- The command line control for the 'Wireless switching hot key (Fn+F5)' feature.
- It is available to control the wireless radio using the following command;
C:\Program Files\Lenovo\HOTKEY\TpFnF5.exe [PARAMETER]
The following parameters are defined;
- /WLON, /WLOFF Turn on/off internal 802.11.
- /BTON, /BTOFF Turn on/off internal bluetooth.
- /WANON, /WANOFF Turn on/off internal WAN.
- /ALLON, /ALLOFF Turn on/off any radio at once.
* I found the above technical info here.
