(Share) X20 gone to fix about battery-Updated

As specified before, my X20 cant charge the battery, and even cannot detect
Its a new battery...It must be somethin wrong in mobo

So, since warrant expired , i took to a shop in SSP in HK
The keeper was surprised when he heard that a IBM notebook with this problem.
He said, IBM stuffs seldom have this problem. and he need few days to find a part for me to fix it.
At last, came to a bill on $300HKD, which is about 40USD
and, parts charge are not included...

Doesnt it worth for a such old notebook? If its not my favourite, i wont rescue it indeed!!

Well, today the shop rang me back
The guy told me that, 300HKD for Repair charge
and another 300HKD for part charge...
That means 40USD x 2= 80USD

really a big sum for a poor college student...
