X21 USB Question~

#1 Post by wilsonhs » Fri Dec 29, 2006 9:36 am

Hi everyone.
I wanna ask that does a X20/21 support USB2.0 at the port on board?
If yes, is there any upgrade driver for WINXP?
thanks

The X21 does not have USB 2.0. You can however use a USB 2.0 PCMCIA card. If I am not mistaken, the X31 was the first X series to have 2.0.

Taken from http://www.oreillynet.com/cs/user/view/cs_msg/62771

"In Device Manager, click on the USB host controller, click the Advanced tab and then check the box on the bottom of the window that says “Don’t tell me about USB errors.” I think you need to do this for each USB controller listed under USB in Device Manager so that the error message will not appear no matter which controller the device gets plugged into.”

This solution worked for me. Hope this helps.
