X41 hard drive clicking

So, this new X41, it has this constant click click click, on the left, I imagine that is where the 1.8" HD is?

Is there a way to service it, or check the status of it, or is this just an issue with drive seek inherent in these drives?

The noise is the sound of the hard disk's head parking, which is done frequently in an attempt to protect the drive from damage if it is moved and also to save power. But the noise can really be irritating. See the second post (Sticky) in this forum for lots more written about this.
