x60s and 1920x1200 external monitor

anybody knows how to make my x60s to set 1920x1200 resolution on external monitor??? I got all the latest drivers, etc. and the ... thing still does not work.

Are you using it as a second monitor or switching with Fn+F7? What resolutions do you have available?

If you're setting it up as a second monitor, do the following:

connect the external LCD to the VGA port --> "Display Properties" --> "Settings" --> click on the monitor labeled "2" --> check "Extend my Windows desktop onto this monitor" (at this stage, the 1920x1200 may not be available yet, but just ignore that) --> click "OK"

After doing the above, restart "Display Properties" and now the 1920x1200 option should be available. Move the slider to that position and click "OK".
