Line Across Screen

Hey, sorry for asking so many questions, but my Thinkpad has been torturing this past month. All of a sudden, there's a thin line across the upper end of my screen now which I cannot erase. I think it's a hardware problem because the line won't go away even when I start the laptop. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!

You could check the LCD connector to the mobo, but it sounds like you're going to need to replace the screen.
