X40 had its first fall today :(

#1 Post by devilsrejection » Mon Sep 20, 2004 11:04 am

I don't think it's too bad let me know what you guys think.

I had my x40 in its laptop sleeve which i bought at sfbags.com.

I had the sleeve then in my ogio metro.

The bag was on a dining room chair, it flipped over and fell, laptop side facing down.

I think it's AOK, upon further observation it looked fine.

I shouldn't be worried about anything right??

Yes it was powered off.

I have a variety of ThinkPads turned off and parked inside my padded leather bag that has fallen off chairs any number of times. No ill effects that I have seen. So long as there is clearly no damage, you should be fine. ... JDHurst

I doubt there will be any problems. Build quality is one of the reasons you bought IBM anyways, right?
