Hi,
I'd like to share that on an X20 it's possible to use the speed of USB2 when backing up your drive if you use Trueimage and a USB2 PCMCIA card right out of the box, error free.
I use to be die hard Ghoster, even though it took several hours to complete a backup, I knew I could trust it. In hunting for a better way I found a site that had "My Super MS-DOS 7.10 Boot Disk (Build: 2004.2.14)" which enabled me to create a boot floppy that did actually work with the USB2 PCMCIA card but I ruined the floppy and had headaches trying to re-create it.
In my further hunting, I found Trueimage. I've swapped HDD with it and done numerous backups and restores flawlessly.
Rgds
