broadcom 94306 minipci needs software?

#1 Post by marktwain » Wed Apr 11, 2007 6:39 pm

hi-
bought a minipci b/g adaptor and installed it. got the appropriate drivers. didnt work. took it to a shop. shop said that a) i needed software to work with the card and b) i would need to upgrade to windows XP to make the leap.

thought i had read elsewhere of people with win2K working the broadcom cards in - is there just software i'm missing? the card came with none when i bought it off ebay. is there a true incompatibility issue with win2k?

If the card is like the one in my 600X:

then you will find links there. I would recommend using the Belkin package as it has the drivers and configuration utility program. And I have no problem running this card and software under Win2K.
