IBM ThinkPad X3 series with Fingerprint reader

#1 Post by mrobo » Sun Apr 15, 2007 2:20 pm

Is there any way to install the orginnall builded in fingerprint reader for IBM ThinkPad X3 Series Laptops ?
Is it integrated on Motherboard or not ?
Does anybody know about it something ?
I ask because I don like much the X4 series laptop, but I want the FP reader on my X31 and don't want the IBM external FP reader.

yes i know that it does not have integrated FP reader but i want know if it is possible mount it on X31, because that keybord case seems to be same as on X41.
Want to know if its some module pluged to motherboard or is integrated on motherboard.
