Changing screens on x41 or x60

The only thing i could think of that you knock a thinkpad for is it's screen while other manufactures have higher resolution and a glossy option, current thinkpad users have to settle for less.. Yes I know they made the svga an option now.

My question is has anyone tried to replace the display with any from another manufactures with maybe higher resolution and have any success with them?

I believe you mean sxga.
