Just have a very quick question about Windows Key on X41T

#1 Post by Ryan T. » Tue Apr 17, 2007 8:12 pm

My Windows Key says "Lenovo Singapore" on it, otherwise it looks normal. Is this typical for these machines? Mine was not bought direct, so I want to be sure I didn't get sold a foreign laptop.

Basically I need to know if it will work with US restore CD's...

Thanks.

No, it is allright. It should work find with US restore CDs.
Now: T60 2613-EKU | T23 2647-9NU | 600X 2645-9FU | HP 100LX
Past: X31 2673-Y13 | T41 2374-3HU | T22 2647-AEU

That is very normal. Your restore CD's will work. Lenovo as we all know is an asian company so it simply buys those license keys from Singapore. So, frankly speaking your using a foreign laptop too.
