Does a X32 main board fit into the X31?

#1 Post by BeRo » Thu Apr 19, 2007 3:22 pm

Hello@all,

Here my question:

Does a X32 main board fit into the X31 (2672-CEG)?

I'm asking, because I consider straight whether I am upgrading my X31 with more CPU power.

Is this possible?

Best regards,
BeRo

Yup, that should work fine. Unless you get the board cheap though, theres little point. (Unless you manage to acquire the 2ghz version)

Ok, thanks. I must now find out only, where I can get a X32 main board. It is no matter to me whether the board is used or new.

will be very hard to find as x32 2ghz are very very rare. i believe it would be easier and cheaper to sell the x31 and buy a x32
