Can't access X40 drivers & downloads at IBM site

#1 Post by whickman » Fri Oct 08, 2004 4:30 am

Does anyone know what gives with the IBM site? The X series drivers and downloads link is a dead link. And the x40 drivers and downloads page, which I had bookmarked and accessed numerous times, has been missing for the last four days or so.

So what is going on?

That's happened to me a few times this week. Usually re-appears after a few hours.

Yeah, the same here, seems like IBM is reorganizing its web pages.

Have you tried http://www.tpdrivers.com ?

I find it's best these days to go here and enter your 7 character model or choose to have it automatically detected then use this spam-free free service to keep an eye on the page that loads.

I sent an e-mail to them about the drivers page being down. They replied that they were migrating servers throughout the week, and some things were missed with the transition. Seems like everything works now.
