Remapping "FN" key to external USB wireless keyboa

I need to access some of the tasks made available on my X20 laptop keyboard that use a combination of the "FN" key and other keys. I want to do this from a wireless USB keyboard. Does anyone know how I would go about doing this?

e.g. - "FN + F7" changes the display mode. How could I do this via an external keyboard only?

Use the 'keyboard customizer utility' that is part of the thinkvantage tools. Using this, you can get the 'Fn' functionality using the Ctrl keys.
